Save Up to $7,500 on Your Next Electric Vehicle Without Waiting for Tax Season at Gresham Toyota

Thinking about making the switch to an electric or plug-in vehicle? Oregon residents may be eligible for money back through the Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate Program (OCVRP).
The program, administered by the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), provides rebates for qualifying electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. Depending on your eligibility and the vehicle you choose, you may be able to receive a rebate when you purchase or lease an eligible vehicle from a participating dealership.
Important: OCVRP funding is limited, and program availability can change. Always confirm your eligibility, vehicle eligibility, and available funding with the Oregon DEQ before completing your purchase or lease.

2026 Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate Dates

The Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate Program is scheduled to reopen August 25, 2026, and remain open through November 4, 2026. The program may close earlier if available funding is exhausted.
If you're considering an eligible vehicle, don't wait to check your eligibility and available rebate funding.

How Much Could You Receive?

Standard Rebate

The Standard Rebate is available to qualifying Oregon residents without an income requirement. Eligible customers may receive up to $2,000 toward the purchase or lease of a qualifying new vehicle.
The vehicle must meet Oregon's program requirements, including applicable MSRP and vehicle eligibility requirements.

Charge Ahead Rebate

Oregon's Charge Ahead Rebate is designed for income-eligible Oregon households and can provide a larger rebate for qualifying vehicles.
Eligible applicants may receive up to $7,500 for a new battery electric vehicle (BEV) or up to $5,000 for a new plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), subject to program requirements and available funding.
Charge Ahead may also be available for qualifying used electric vehicles. Income eligibility and other requirements apply.
The Standard and Charge Ahead rebates cannot be combined for the same purchase or lease.

Who May Qualify?

For the Standard Rebate, individuals generally must:
  • Be an Oregon resident.
  • Purchase or lease an eligible new battery electric vehicle, plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, or qualifying zero-emission motorcycle.
  • Purchase or lease the vehicle during an active OCVRP funding period.
  • Purchase or lease through a participating dealership or eligible manufacturer.
  • Register the vehicle in Oregon and maintain Oregon registration for the required period.
  • Meet all other Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate Program requirements.
Charge Ahead has additional income and eligibility requirements. If you think you may qualify, you can complete the Charge Ahead prequalification process before purchasing or leasing your vehicle.

How the Rebate Works

If Gresham Toyota is participating in the OCVRP point-of-sale process at the time of your purchase or lease, eligible Oregon residents may be able to have the rebate applied directly to the transaction.
At a participating dealership, the dealership can complete and submit the rebate application on your behalf, with the eligible rebate amount deducted from the purchase or lease price.
Point-of-sale availability is subject to program requirements, dealership participation, eligible vehicle availability, and remaining program funds.

Which Vehicles Qualify?

Not every electrified vehicle automatically qualifies for an Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate.
For the Standard Rebate, eligible vehicles generally include new battery electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles with a base MSRP under $50,000, along with qualifying zero-emission motorcycles.
The vehicle must also appear on the current OCVRP eligible vehicle list and meet the program's other requirements.
Because the eligible vehicle list can change, we recommend verifying vehicle eligibility before purchasing or leasing.
